Statarea, audited against the closing line

The verdict

Too early for a verdict. We began auditing Statarea's public predictions recently; the table below shows what we have measured so far, and we withhold any judgement until the settled sample is large enough (30+). What we can already say: accuracy alone never settles whether a prediction service makes money — the break-even accuracy at the odds those picks carry does, and closing-line value is the only metric that converges quickly.

The numbers we measured

Every day we read Statarea's public 1X2 tips, match them to fixtures, settle them on the official result, and — where the pick carried a usable price and we have Pinnacle's close on the same market — grade the closing-line value. Only picks on leagues we cover can be measured; the rest are counted separately, not as failures.

What this means for you

Statarea publishes free 1X2 predictions with probabilities across a very wide range of leagues. That breadth is its appeal and its problem for verification: a high headline accuracy is usually favourites doing what favourites do, and says nothing about whether following the picks beats the price you pay. The test that matters is closing-line value, measured forward, which is exactly what this page accumulates.

Frequently asked

Is Statarea accurate?

On the picks we have settled so far, the measured accuracy is shown in the table above, on a sample we state openly. Read it against the break-even accuracy at those odds: a high hit rate on short-priced favourites can still lose money. We withhold a verdict until the sample passes 30 settled picks.

Do Statarea's predictions beat the bookmakers?

The only fair test is closing-line value: does the price at the time of the tip beat Pinnacle's closing price on the same market? We measure exactly that. The current figure and its sample size are in the table; a positive CLV over a few hundred picks would be real evidence, a high accuracy on a small sample would not.

How does TipsAudit audit Statarea?

We read the publicly displayed predictions once a day, match each to a real fixture, settle it on the official result and grade it against the sharp closing line — the same method we use on Telegram tipsters. We have no affiliation with Statarea, publish the denominators, and never backfill after results are known.

This review is based exclusively on publicly available data we measured ourselves, using the methodology published on this site. We sell no picks, hold no affiliate deals with any platform or bookmaker, and apply the same standard to our own predictions. If the platform disputes any number, we will publish their response.
